Unilever Expert Resources
Safety & Environmental Assurance Centre
Unilever has a dedicated Safety and Environmental Assurance Centre (SEAC) located in the United Kingdom and India, staffed by around 200 people, including scientists recognized as leaders in their field.
The core purpose of the team at SEAC is to assess the safety and environmental sustainability of Unilever’s products in order to assure that they are safe for the people who use them, our employees, and the environment.
Regulatory Affairs (RA) in Unilever is a global technical capability responsible for monitoring and participating in the development and implementation of rules and regulations to make sure we are fully compliant and abreast of regulatory developments.
RA experts collaborate with International Organizations and Competent Authorities on the science and technical aspects that underpin Regulatory Frameworks and Standards related to Foods, Home and Personal Care products.
The consumer products we develop through innovation, play an essential role in our ambition to make a positive impact on the world around us. Many of the challenges of improving health and well-being, reducing environmental impact, and improving nutrition will be met through science and technology – and we want to be at the forefront of this work.
